  2. Puckett’s
Puckett’s Restaurant could lay claim to the title of “Best Fried Chicken I’ve ever had!” Everything I’ve eaten there has been great and the atmosphere is warm and inviting with a fireplace and live music in the evenings.

An authentic southern restaurant so good and so fresh you’ll feel like you’re at a genuine fish camp. Huck Finn’s Catfish is a mecca for southern cuisine. Delicious all-you-can-eat Southern catfish & fried chicken dinners, plus á la carte down-home dishes.

**Please understand this was a hard list to compile because there are an endless number of incredible restaurants to choose from. Some of my personal favorites aren’t even on this list. I tried to think of the most likely places I would take friends and family of mine who are visiting from out of town and this is the list I came up with.**
