Buford

At Array Variety Show, we pride ourselves on the level of talent displayed in our show from all of our performers. It’s one of the many things that have quickly made Array one of the most popular shows in town.

We’d like to take a moment to brag on one of our specialty performers. Stephen Knowles, AKA “Buford,” has been asked to be the headlining performer for the national ventriloquist convention in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

The Vent Haven Ventriloquist History Museum is the official home of ventriloquism. For over 50 years, they have hosted an annual convention where over 400 ventriloquists gather from all over the world to learn about their art and to share tips and ideas with one another.

“Buford” has been attending this convention since he was in his 20s, and credits it with being a major reason for his success as an entertainer.

Now he has an opportunity to give back, returning as a lecturer and performer. He will be giving a lecture on “How to make yourself unforgettable,” and if you have seen Buford, it will come as no surprise that he is certainly unforgettable.

Buford admits that being asked to headline the big Saturday night show during the convention is an unbelievable honor and one of the highlights of his career.

Headlining the Saturday night show, which will take place on July 20th, is an extreme honor, and is usually reserved for big name ventriloquists such as Jeff Dunham and Terry Fator, both of whom will be in attendance for Buford’s performance.

Congratulations Buford on a well-deserved accomplishment!

Filling in at Array for Buford during his absence will be the amazing “Slim Chance.”  Don’t miss out on the chance to see Slim at Array, July 17th, 18th, and 20th.
