One of the unique things about “Array Variety Show” is that we will swap variety acts in and out of the show from time to time. We love all of our specialty performers and would keep them all in the show every night and let them each show off their amazing skills, some of which you have never even seen, to our audience. However, if we did that, we’d be producing a 6-hour show! (Hmmmm……we would sell a lot more pretzels that way).
With that said, “Array” would like to officially welcome the newest members of the “Mountain of Entertainment Theater” family, “Duo Viridescent!”
“Duo Viridescent” is the remarkably talented aerial duo of Sarah Harrison and Andrew Dransfield.
Sarah is a professional multi-disciplinary circus artist, educator and dancer with extensive experience in aerial work and years of technical dance training.
Andrew is an acrobat, break dancer, and parkour artist, as well as an accomplished performer in many circus disciplines such as the trampoline wall, Russian Swing, Chinese Pole, Sway Pole, and more.
“Duo Viridescent” will be relieving “Duo Artis,” the remarkable and beloved aerial team of Leanne Farley and Semyon Gruzdev, who are more than excited for a little vacation time to visit family. “Duo Artis” will return to the Mountain of Entertainment Theater stage September 2nd and are scheduled to perform nightly through the end of the year.
Fun fact; Viridescent means “greenish” or “becoming green.” Duo Viridescent got their name because of Andrew’s love of the color green. Outside of the show, you will NEVER see him not wearing a “viridescent” outfit. His shirts, pants, even his glasses, shoes and socks are green. I think it’s safe to say that Kermit the Frog is his biggest influence.
